Here is a fine example of an old German handmade Gooseberry. There are 24 white lattice-like lines on a pilsner yellow base glass which is far and away more difficult to find than the usual dark amber. There are two pontil marks, one ground, dating the marble to the mid nineteenth century.
CONDITION: NEAR MINT 8.5 with two crescent pop-outs and some scattered pinpricking. You may click here to view the grading system I use. | |||||
