The core on this old onionskin is somewhat shrunken and surrounded by large flakes of mica that appear in some views to be floating between the color and the surface, but if you twist it around you'll find that they are at some point touching the color. CONDITION: The surface still has its wet shiney appearance with a only one shallow flake, visible in the second and fourth pictures, two very short and shallow as-made hairlines visible toward the bottom of the third and fourth pictures, and just a hint of very light wear which is only visible with a bright light and lense.
