Here is the only marble made of steel that was indended to be a toy marble. It is not a ball bearing is made of a flat piece of steel and is beaten into a hollow sphere to reduce mass and weight, but was still a formidable weapon in the marble wars. Glass just didn't have a chance against this bane of future marble collectors. The guy who made them must have had a mean streak, but I'm sure he spent hours making just one and didn't get near the pay his time deserved. Serves him right. I remember games would just break up when a player would break out one of these. At that time we weren't purists, but we knew these big steelies would split our glass mibs right in-two.
CONDITION: MINT There is no sign of play or rust and is better than many I've seen right out of the bag. | |||||
