Here is a great old German latticinio that shows superb craftsmanship. The white net is nearly perfect in symetry as are the six outer white ribbons which are alternately coated with transparent red and blue. Also, there is a dramatic twist to the marble that makes for excellent viewing from any angle.
CONDITION: NEAR MINT(+) 8.8 There are scattered tiny pinpricks including a couple of clusters, fourth picture, but they seem to mostly have melted edges. Some appear to have been lightly buffed maybe, but if so, it's rather strange because the twist marks have not been smoothed out. All of this only shows up under close inspection with magnification. The marble displays quite nicely. You may click here to view the grading system I use. | |||||
