This is an old German handmade banded opaque with a pattern common to the popular black based INDIAN marble. The color consists of two panels with streaks of red, white, blue, and yellow on a base glass that is actually colored a pale blue.
CONDITION: NEAR MINT(-) 8.3 No missing glass, which is rare for this soft glass. No moons, cracks, sparkles, or hard hits. Just some scattered flea-bites. The pictures provide quite accurate detail of colors and condition. This is a very rare marble indeed, and displays nicely in my curio cabinet.
