Here is a rare old German Clearie with loads of large mica flakes just below the surface all the way around. Actual size is just a hair under an inch. One pontil mark is lightly ground and the other is a melted pig-tail.
CONDITION: NEAR MINT 8.5 There doesn't appear to be very much wear at all, but there are two places where it looks like the large mica flakes got too near the surface and popped out leaving craters that someone has buffed around the edges. Not too noticeable with all of the mica. Also, there is a slight protrubance at one pole leaving the marble slightly out of round. You may click here to view the grading system I use. | |||||
