Here is one of the more rare marbles in my collection. This is an Akro Agate marble with red, yellow, and blue corkscrews riding on the surface of a clear base with white wispy strands definitive of the POPEYE. The white is also on the surface only, so I guess you could also call it a four-color SNAKE
CONDITION: MINT(+) 9.7 Pristine surface with no signs of wear of any kind and no defects. All I can find with a bright light and 20x lens is one tiny, tiny needle-point dimple that is completely melted, see second and sixth pictures. Anything you see that resembles a pinprick is actually air bubbles below the surface. You may click here to view the grading system I use. | |||||
