At just a hair under 15/16", this is a museum quality example of an old Joseph's coat swirl. Colors include: red, yellow, pale-green, white, brown, rusty-red, and a couple of thin lines of lavender. Both pontil marks are unfinished and just as clean as the day they were hand made in Germany circa 1870-1910.
CONDITION: MINT(+) 9.7 Incredibly wet, shiny, pristine surface. There is not the slightest hint of wear of any kind on this marble. All I can find at all are two tiny roller tracks that require close examination to find and didn't show up in any of the six enlarged pictures. If you can find anything wrong with this marble I will gladly refund your bid plus the cost of shipping both ways. You may click here to view the grading system I use. | |||||
