Most of the sulphide marbles you ever see, even the small ones, are 1-1/8" or larger. Anything less than an inch, and this one is only 29/32", is rare indeed. The figure is of a pig, well centered with a little less than average detail and with a thin stretched bubble on either side that resembles wings when viewed from the top or the bottom as you can see in the fifth and sixth pictures. The single ground pontil mark is directly below the figure and can be seen in the sixth picture.
CONDITION: MINT 9.6 The surface is pristine with not the slightest hint of any wear at all, or any other anomolies, such as pinpricks, fractures, or anything else. Anything in the pictures resembling pinpricks are tiny sub-surface air-bubbles. This is one of the cleanest sulphides I've ever seen. You may click here to view the grading system I use. | |||||
