This is a Peltier National Onyx slag with the white feathery swirls on and below the surface of a deep red transparent base glass, probably the most popular and hardest to find of all the Peltier slags.
CONDITION: MINT(-) 9.1 The surface is wet and shiny with no signs of wear at all; however, there are four tiny melted dimples, a scratch-like line, and a pinprick, all of which are glazed over with melted edges that prove they were made while the marble was still hot. Also, shown in the third picture is a subsurface reflection that shows up only at a certain angle as the marble is rotated under a bright light.
