Here is an extremely rare 3/4"+ Akro Agate Hybrid Popeye exhibiting a fantastic pattern of clear with the white wispy strands that leave a nice window to the interior, and cover with corkscrews of green and yellow trimmed with a good solid line of bright red that was left over from a previous color run. These so called hybrid Popeyes are very rare in the smaller sizes, but almost impossible to find in the larger shooter size such as this one. Being so rare, they are seldom seen availabe for sale.
CONDITION: NEAR MINT(+) 8.9 The surface is wet and shiny with only the slightest hint of microscopic wear visible under a bright light and lense. There is a faint scuff mark and a small cluster of the tiniest of pinpricks at one pole that you can barely see at the north edge of the fifth picture. The other pole shows a small crescent as-made flake which is visible in the fifth picture. I've seen many marbles not nearly as nice listed as mint.
