A wide bright green ribbon and many streaks and stripes of oxblood meet at two seams on the surface of a crystal clear base glass that has lots of white wispy strands occupying the interior, all the makings of an Akro Agate Popeye with the exception that there is no twist to the marble--clearly, an extremely rare example of the very elusive Popeye Patch.
CONDITION: MINT 9.5 The surface has the wet, shiny look of a brand new marble with no sign of wear at all. All I can find with a bright light and lens is one tiny pinprick shown near the center of the second picture that is clearly as-made. You may click here to view the grading system I use. | |||||
