This is one of Akro's earliest and most popular marbles: the SPARKLER. I've heard that the original idea was to manufacture a machine made marble that resembled the antique German handmade onionskin. If that is indeed the case, this one came pretty close. The colors are rather earthy and include: green, yellow, white, red-orange, and several shades of browns and tans. The base glass is crystal clear with tiny bubbles floating around, all beneath the surface.
CONDITION: WET MINT 9.9 I seldom rate any marble this high, but I can't find a single flaw anywhere on this marble. As close to perfect as you'll ever see. You may click here to view the grading system I use. | |||||
