Yellow is one of the most difficult to find colors of the clear glass marbles made by the old German artists of the late nineteenth century, circa 1880-1910, and one of the most prized by collectors. The abundance of large mica flakes in this example take full advantage of light to create an eye-appealing addition to any display of glass art.
CONDITION: NEAR MINT(+) 8.99 The surface has a nice shine to it, but close examination shows some very light wear that appears to be the result of being stored in a box or jar with other marbles for over 100 years. I can't see, even with a bright light and lens, that the marble was ever played with. You may click here to view the grading system I use. | |||||
