Snow white swirls in a brilliant cherry red glass makes for one of the most eye-appealing examples of the early Akro Agate products, and that makes it one of the earliest in American marble production history. Not being an expert on slag marbles by any means, I can only deduce that this is an Akro product--there is no "9" and tail indicative of the MFCs and CAC hand-gathered, or the seams of the later CACs, plus, Akro Agate produced more slags than all of the rest of the marble manufacturers combines.
The kids must have really like the red ones, because most of the ones I've seen have been pretty well chewed up, especially these in the shooter size--just a hair shy of 23/32" CONDITION: MINT(+) 9.7 Beautiful wet shine with no sign of play or wear.
