Varying amounts of opaque red, yellow, and black twist nearly two full turns around each other forming the famous, patented, Akro Agate Co. corkscrew known, with this very popular and scarce color scheme, to collectors as an INDIAN BLANKET. Produced after the so-called "Freeze improvement of 1922", circa 1922-1949. Very hard to find, especially in this wonderful mint condition.
CONDITION: MINT 9.6 The surface is wet and shiny with no evidence of play or wear. A bright light and lens, as well as the extra large pictures, reveal some small, shallow, melted dimples that are clearly as-made. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 17.71mm or 0.694" at the equator. | |||||
