The exceptionally rare, for Peltier, red base glass with black aventurine ribbons is an old standard known to collectors as a WASP. Sometimes, depending on the light, the red appears to take on an orange tint--a color that Marble Alan used to call a WIGER. WASP, or WIGER, these have always been hard to come by and now days they are nearly impossible to find. Sorry about the blow hole, but it will be reflected in the price.
CONDITION: MINT(-) 9.1 The surface is wet and shiny with no signs of use that I can see even with the aid of a bright light and lens. The only anomoly is an all too typical Peltier bubble pop easily seen in the center of the fourth image. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 15.98mm or 0.629" at the equator. | |||||
