Green and yellow corkscrews wind around a highly UV reactive transparent vaseline yellow base glass that is well filled with opaque white wispy threads to define a combination known to collectors as a hybrid of the famous Akro Agate LEMONADE as well as the LIMEADE. Although it very closely resembles the equally famous Akro POPEYE, some purists would argue that it doesn't qualify since the base glass is not a transparent clear, but yellow. Whatever your view point, this is a fairly rare marble and fits equally well in a POPEYE collection as well as the ADE family compilation.
The first two images show the poles of the marbles where you can see the little eyelash marks that help us to date the marbles manufacture to sometime prior to 1922 at the latest. CONDITION: MINT(+) 9.7 The surface is wet and shiny with a single sub-surface reflection and a single very tiny, almost microscopic, pinpoint, neither of which showed up in the images although I tried to show every aspect with the two poles and four quarter-turn rotation captures.
