Black aventurine ribbons meet at two rather long seams on a bright orange base glass to define what collectors call a Peltier NLR TIGER. Sorry, I seem to always have problems trying to capture black aventurine in the images, but it is easily seen in hand.
These are possibly not the rarest of the Peltier collectible marbles, but orange is not one of their primary colors either and finding one that is not beat up from play is becomming harder and harder. CONDITION: MINT(-) 9.3 The surface is wet and shiny and I don't see any signs of play and only the slightest trace of miniscule wear, but in addition to a few melted dimples, there are some very tiny pinpoints that look to me to be the result of aventurine pops--a phenomenon that happens during the cooling or annealing period of the manufacturing process and is quite common with Petier marbles containing aventurine. The pictures are quite accurate as a tool for determining condition.
