Four transparent dark forest green surface ribbons meet at two seams on a bright canary yellow base glass to identify this old standard as a Peltier NLR JOHN DEERE, or GIRL SCOUT. Although the John Deere tractor, as well as, the Girl Scout colors are green trimmed in yellow. I guess that's why many collectors refer to this example as a LEMON-LIME. Call it what you will, this is one of Peltier's early examples of the National Line from the 1920s and '30s.
CONDITION: MINT 9.6 The surface is wet and shiny with no evidence of play or wear at all. There are a couple of very tiny, shallow as-mades that are visible in the second and third pictures. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 15.09mm or 0.594" at the equator. | |||||
