Here's one of the most popular marbles in the collecting world: Brilliant red and yellow ribbons wind their way around a crystal clear base glass that is nearly filled with opaque white wispy strands that define the Akro Agate POPEYE CORKSCREW.
In the sixth image, you can see the little eyelash-like, so-called "Pre-Freeze", marks that tell us of a manufacture date of sometime prior to early 1922. CONDITION: MINT 9.5 The surface is wet and shiny and looks like a brand new marble. Close inspection shows a single very tiny pinprick and a sub-surface reflection.
