Green and yellow, with a trace of red, corkscrews surround a transparent vaseline yellow base glass strewn with opaque white wispy strands. Because of the white wispy strands suffused in the transparent but yellow base glass, many collectors accept this marble as a POPEYE. Some of the purists say that the base glass is required to be transparent clear to be classified as a true Popeye. Admitedly, the base glass in most of these flouresent "Popeyes" have a cloudy vaseline base glass like their LEMONADE and LIMEADE relatives; but this one is definitely transparent clear with a yellow cast and definitely sits well with a Popeye collection, it is equally at home with the ADE family of marbles. So, when it becomes yours, you can call it what you like. I prefer to call it like it says in the title: a hybrid mix of them all.
