As the title says: we have an Akro Agate 4-color SPECIAL shooter with all of the SUPERMAN colors plus some strands of dark grey that stand out quite well as highlighting. One of the most popular of all the Akro Corkscrews, the collectors have had to resort to finding "dug" examples, i.e. those dug from the Akro factory site, cleaned up, maybe even polished, and offered for sale. This big beauty shows no evidence of ever having been in the ground.
CONDITION: MINT 9.6 The surface is wet and shiny and I can find no sign of play or wear of any kind. There are, however, some tiny melted dimples, a few of which, have some sort of black looking debris in their bottoms. This is all on the microscopic level and I can't explain how or why they seem larger in the pictures. It is quite rare to find one of the SUPERMAN marbles that haven't been dug or played with so badly that they are hardly worth the collectors' efforts to obtain.
