Here's one that looks enough like a Popeye that many collectors include them in their Popeye collections; however, some of the older purists claim that a Popeye must have a transparent clear base glass with white wispy strands. This one has the translucent cloudy Vaseline glass used by the Akro ADE family of marbles such as the LIMEADE OR LEMONADE. This marble in fact is a hybrid LEMONADE/LIMEADE CORKSCREW with lots of white wispy strands in the highly flourescent, (UV reactive), Vaseline glass.
CONDITION: MINT(+) 9.7 The surface is glossy wet looking with no sign of wear at all. All I can find with the aid of a bright light and jeweler's loupe is a single tiny open air bubble that should have shown up in the third picture but the view was overwhelmed by the brightness of the flash.
