Here is a popular and exceedingly hard-to-find marble of the West Virginia Swirls genus and one of the RAVENSWOOD NOVELTY WORKS most sought-after products: the GREEN RAVEN. Beautiful dark transparent forest green swirls intermingle with blends of brown from chocolate to tan. On the reverse side of the marble, blue swirls mix with the browns, meeting the definition of a BLUE RAVEN.
The Blue Raven isn't easy to find, and a Green Raven is quite rare; both of them on the same marble is a scarcity that commands the attention of all high-end collectors. Finding this specimen in any condition is remarkable; for it to be in such beautiful mint condition is momentous.
CONDITION: MINT 9.6 The surface has a wet shiny look with no signs of play. Close inspection with light and lens reveals microscopic wear invisible to the naked eye or even normal eye-glasses. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 15.49mm or 0.609" at the equator. | |||||
