When I was first introduced to this hypnotic beauty, I told my friend that I thought these would someday become the next "Guinea" for marble collectors. I still believe they are on their way to the top. If they can ever find enough of them that aren't damaged or cracked. The jury is still out about that.
Yellow, orange, transparent-clear, and pale pink are the colors on this example of the infamous CHAMPION AGATE FURNACE SCRAPINGS marble. There have never been very many of these in circulation. And the great majority of those have proven to have annealing fractures, with many having broken from the stress.
CONDITION: MINT(-) The surface is so glossy wet, and shiny looking when first seen it makes you want to get a towel to dry it off. As great as it looks, though, there are a couple of short and shallow hairlines, fourth and fifth pictures, and three pinpricks are shown in the second and third.
